— THE GIST —
RAW/Unpasteurized | Ethically Sourced | Local
Bee pollen is naturally high in amino acids, making it a great source of protein. There are many ways it can be enjoyed, from sprinkling on smoothies and granola to incorporating it into baked goods. We encourage exploring reputable sources to learn more about its uses and benefits!
Hiveology is an ethical bee-keeping company so you can finally feel good about the honey you eat!

Tip: Start with just a few kernels of bee pollen to ensure you don’t have a reaction, as it contains natural local allergens. Gradually increasing your intake may help your body adjust over time, potentially supporting a gentler response during allergy season.

Hiveology

Hiveology

Kelowna, BC

Hiveology is an ethical honey company based in Kelowna, BC. They have bees are all over the Okanagan on various local + organic farms. They believe that consuming honey shouldn’t have detrimental effects on the bees who make it. They strive to create a symbiotic relationship with their bees by using organic treatments and gentle practices to improve their lives as they do ours. They only take the excess honey that they are confident the bees don’t need, leaving plenty to keep them healthy and full through the winter. They believe that it is our responsibility to help restore the natural world that we constantly destroy with – what seems like – every action we make. No one can do it all on their own, but every little bit helps. Their impact of choice? Helping the bees flourish, not only to keep food on our table but to keep all plant life thriving so that all the other living things can have food and shelter.
